Homework May 23, 2013

Parents, ask your child, “what did you learn in school today?”  Have your child tell you at least one new thing that they learned in school everyday!

Everyday in school we work on writing in complete sentences.  We also use the question in the answer!  My favorite thing to do is teach.  Teaching is my favorite thing to do because…

Thank you SO much for the teacher treats & the Mother’s Day treats!  It means the world to me!   

First in Math update — play First in Math!  We won the ice cream treat for having the most stickers as a class in the month of September!  Keep up the good work!  2nd grade won a dress down day for having the most stickers in the month of October!  The next reward is for the top 5 players in each class will have an afternoon off from school to watch a Christmas movie & have a snack!  Fun, fun, fun!  The top 5 players were — Jacob Carlson, Nicholas Hoffmann, Cynthia Nguyen, Meghan Nowaczyk & Brendan Olimpo!  The prize for having the most stickers in the month of January is a Wii dance party for the class!  So keep playing First in Math!  Way to go, we won the Wii dance party!  Yahoo!  The next First in Math prize is a dress down day & a Rita’s water ice treat!  Fun! Fun! Fun!  Let’s keep playing First in Math!  We won the dress down day & the Rita’s treat!  I wonder what the next reward will be, let’s keep playing First in Math & find out!
