Ask your child about our Science lessons!
*  4 parts of a plant
*  How are seeds scattered?
*  What are plants grouped?
*   Animals with backbones
*  What is camouflage?
*  What are gills? fins?
*  What are feathers & wings used for?  What does a penguin use its wings for?
*  What is a reptile?
*   We learned about frogs, they are amphibians!
*   Today we learned about insects!  Ask your child about insects!
*  Did you know that a pumpkin is a fruit!
*  What is the difference between a frog & a toad?
*  Did you know that if an octopus or a starfish loses an arm it will grow back?! 
*  Do you know what a producer is?  How about a consumer? 
*  We learned about different habitats!
*  We learned about habitats of large & small animals!
*  We learned about the food chain!  Did you know that the food chain starts with the sun!

 

Ask your child about our Social Studies lessons!
*  We follow rules & laws in our neighborhood.
*  To vote is to make a choice about something.
*  What is a difference between a globe & a map?
