Kindergarten Update September 29 – October 3
We are learning about the Feast Days of St. Therese, the Guardian Angels, and St. Francis of Assisi. October is the month of the Holy Rosary. The whole school recites a decade of the rosary after morning recess around Mary’s garden.
We are learning that each whole number is “one more” than the number just before it and “one fewer” than the whole number just after it.
We will be reading, “Miss Bindergarten Takes a Field Trip with Kindergarten” by Joseph Slate. Comprehension Skill: Classify and Categorize. This week the letters are Tt, Uu, Vv, Ww, Ss, Yy, and Zz.
High Frequency Words: the, little . Please practice at home.
Basic needs of living things (air, water, food)
Gym Class – Please wear gym uniform and sneakers.
Library – Please return your child’s library book today.
