Kindergarten Update                         October 27 – 31


We will focus on the lives of the saints and the Feast Day of All Saints on November 1st.


Identify number patterns using dominoes and connecting cubes.


We will be reading Armadillo’s Orange by Jim Arnosky. Comprehension Skill: Setting – where the story takes place. We will work on the recognition and formation of the letter Ss and identify its initial, middle and final sound. High Frequency Words: have, is. Please practice.


Growing Pumpkins!

Friday, November 14th is Parent/Teacher Conferences. There will be no school for students. Your scheduled conference time will be sent home on Tuesday, 11/04.

Kindergarten Halloween Costume Party – Children should wear their costume to school, but bring a large brown bag with their name on it, just in case they want to take off their costume. They should wear their gym uniform under their costume. Thank you for all the delicious treats!

Return signed Communication Envelope.
Homework:   Practice learning home phone number or parent’s cell phone number.


Show & Tell with the letter Ss. Please have your child bring in something that begins with the letter S.
There will be no homework tonight. Have a Happy Halloween!!


NO SCHOOL – Diocesan Professional Development Day



  • Please send in a rectangular shape box of baby wipes.
  • Wed., Nov. 5   1 p.m. – All Saints Program presented by First Grade.
  • Fri., Nov. 14        Christmas Bazaar Raffle Basket donations are due. Our theme is “Family Game Basket”. Donations may be board games, card games, snacks, etc.
