We are learning about our Christian Community and belonging to the Catholic Church. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia offers an age-appropriate personal safety lesson twice a year, once in the Fall and anther in the Spring. In these lessons, the children learn to identify safe and unsafe situations, what to do, and where to go for help. Our first Safe Environment Lesson is this Wednesday, October 19.
We continue to work on identifying whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group.
We will be reading Life in the Ocean by Carol Lindeen. Comprehension Skill: Compare and Contrast. We will work on the recognition and formation of the letter Aa and identify its initial, middle and final sound.
High Frequency Words: have, is. Please practice at home.
Gym – Children may wear summer gym uniform and white sneakers due to warm weather today and tomorrow.
Communication Envelope sent home. Please sign and return tomorrow.
