Kindergarten Update September 15 – 19
The children will know that Jesus loves them and invites them to be close to Him.
We will continue to count, sort, identify and match sets.
For the first few weeks, we will concentrate on 5 or more letters per week. This week the letters are Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Ll, Mm, Nn. After all the letters have been introduced, we will work on learning each letter more thoroughly. We will be reading, “Fix-It Duck” by Jez Alborough.
We will have two new high frequency words every two weeks for your child to learn to read. Please practice these words at home with your child. High Frequency Words: I, am
Gym Class – Please wear gym uniform and sneakers.
Pretzels begin for the children who ordered them.
Library – Please return your child’s library book today.

6:30 pm – Back-To-School Night – Looking forward to seeing everyone!
- Wed., Oct. 8: Fall Pictures in School Uniform – Order form went home Friday in your child’s folder.
- Mon., Oct. 13: Faculty Meeting – No School – Columbus Day
- Fri., Oct. 24: One of our GSC school service projects is our annual Peanut Butter & Jelly drive. We will take donations until Friday, October 24th.
