God, Scholarship, Community, and Service.

Principal Sister Patricia Healey, IHM

It is my privilege to serve as the principal of Good Shepherd Catholic Regional School.  It is my goal to share the charism of being a Sister, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and my educational experience with the school community of Good Shepherd School.

My educational experience includes a BA from Immaculata University and a MA from Temple University.  Post graduate work included administrative certification at Villanova University and University of Georgia.  One year was spent in independent study of  British Primary Education in London, England.

Professional experiences include the following:  Elementary school teacher; Principal in the Dioceses of Allentown, PA, Philadelphia, PA and Atlanta, GA; Instructor in the education department at Immaculata University; Certified trainer in the Early Prevention of School Failure program for the State of Pennsylvania; Supervisor and councilor for elementary schools staffed by IHM Sisters – serving 120 schools in 15 dioceses; Author and consultant for the English text, Voyages in English.

As I continue to serve God’s people, my prayer echoes that of the Psalmist:  “May the words of my mouth and the work of my hands be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Good Shepherd.
