Congratulations to Kitty Ratner, who won last night’s Home and School election and who will be joining the 2013-2014 Board as our new Membership Chairperson. And thanks to Carol Capriotti, who accepted her nomination for the position, and who we expect will continue to play an active role in Home and School activities in the years ahead.

We appreciate everyone’s dedication and support!

Tonight is our third and final General Meeting of the 2012-2013 school year, and will include a vote for a new membership chairperson. Information about this year’s election and the nominees for the five board positions that became open for a vote this year are in a Word® document posted on both our “Documents and Downloads” and “Organization” Web pages.

GSC’sAvenue of the Arts” program is a big part of tonight’s Home and School event. Student artwork will be on display and there will be live performances from student dancers, singers and musicians. So we hope you’re making plans to join us!

You certainly responded to our call to eat mor chikin’on May 8, as GSC racked up $2,131.94 in food and drink receipts at our last Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night this school year. That amount calculated into $319.79 in earnings for our school’s development fund and brought GSC’s grand total this school year (from five CFA nights) to $1,257.57!

Thank you for your gastronomical support!

Remember, too, that the school’s next Chick-fil-A Spirit Night is Wednesday, May 8, the night before Ascension Thursday, a Holy Day of Obligation and a day off from school!

Details on all of the above are on our “News and Events” page.
