Welcome to GSC! The school now has a living, breathing mascot, who made his debut at Back-To-School Night, and already has made new friends! The Home and School Association will announce the details of a “Name the Ram” contest in the near future.

If you remember back to June 10, the Home and School’s “coolest fundraiser” last school year was our “Rita’s Night” in Glenside, which raised $175 for H&S. Well, as part of that night, there was a raffle for free water ice for a GSC classroom, and the winning ticket was held by Meghan Nowaczyk. Now a fourth grader in Mrs. Eileen Coughlin’s room, Meghan and her classmates enjoyed their cool treat on Friday afternoon, September 5!

Please remember to become a supporting (dues-paying) member of the Good Shepherd Home and School Association and be included in our annual Family Directory, which will be distributed at Back-To-School Night on Thursday, September 18. Our membership letter/return form is posted on our “Documents and Downloads page.

For our returning and new families, we invite you to GSC’s “Welcome (Back)” Picnic and Ice Cream Social at Roslyn Park (based at the Boys and Girls Clubhouse) on Friday night, September 5, from 6:00 until 9:00! The Home and School Association is planning a potluck-type, covered dish dinner with hot dogs and hamburgers. Please visit our “SignUp Geniusevent page to RSVP for your family members who will attend and to volunteer your time and/or something to share with everyone. Thank you!
