We honor Mary, our Mother, during the month of May by placing on her statue a crown of flowers. This ceremony is a favorite annual tradition of Good Shepherd Catholic. Two 8th graders, May Queen, Christine, and Bryce, had the honor of crowning Mary and placing flowers at her special statue.

5th Grade DARE Graduation - May 9, 2019
Our 5th grade students graduated from the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program in a ceremony in GSC’s gym that was attended by family and friends. The D.A.R.E. classes this year were under the instruction of Detective Michael Scarpato from the Upper Dublin Township Police Department.
Detective Scarpato spoke honestly to the students about the importance of making good choices.

Good Shepherd Catholic would like to congratulate Mr. Urmson, Erin Gouak, Colleen Rafferty, the talented cast, the students, teachers, parents, and the ENTIRE team for giving us such a splendid performance of Disney's, "Aladdin, Jr." this weekend! The dedication, hard work, and effort were apparent to all who attended.

"Aladdin, Jr." Dress Rehearsal - April 15, 2019
Check out some photos from our dress rehearsal! Plan to join us at Good Shepherd the weekend of April 26th and 27th to see the AMAZING performance of Disney's "Aladdin, Jr.!" All GSC students are in the Friday, April 26th, shows at 12:30pm and 7:00pm. Only cast members will stage the show on Saturday, April 27th, at 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Parents and families are welcome at any of the shows. Admission is $5 only on Saturday. Good luck to Mr. Urmson and all in the show!

GSC’s Annual Mother and Son Mass and Brunch was on Sunday, March 31st! Thank you to all who attended and to our Home and School Association, who gave their time and talents to make this event such a special event.
GSC Sings to Philadelphia Flyers Fans - February 26, 2019
Mr. Urmson and the GSC Choir showcased their talent before the Philadelphia Flyers took on the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday, February 26th, game at the Wells Fargo Center. What an exciting and memorable way for our students to perform!
Sweetheart Dance - February 22, 2019
This annual tradition is not to be missed! This Sweetheart Dance takes place each February in GSC's hall. It is a time for fathers, grandfathers or special friends to treat their special girls like princesses and enjoy a fun-filled evening with dancing, games, and more!

Student Appreciation Day "Peanuts" Show! - January 31, 2019
Happiness is... seeing our students perform and sing! On Student Appreciation Day of Catholic Schools Week, Mr. Urmson and the Peanuts Gang, aka GSC Student Council and Choir, entertained us with a classic Charlie Brown story and message. We had so much fun!
Open House and Academic Fair - January 31, 2019
Our teachers displayed projects that the classes have completed this school year in their STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math) classes. The evening allowed for the students to demonstrate what they can do and displayed all of their hard work! Our teachers believe in STREAM learning and have been doing it in the classrooms.
Sister Helen has also worked very hard so each of the classrooms have the tools and equipment they need.

Minute To Win It- January 30, 2019
The "Minute To Win It" Games are a favorite part of Catholic Schools Week here at GSC.
Mr. Chris Seifert, our host of the games, certainly pumped up our students and got everyone excited!

Grandparents and Special Friends Day - January 29, 2019
One of GSC's favorite traditions during Catholic Schools Week is celebrating with our Grandparents and Special Friends. We prayed together to begin our visit, shared treats, gathered for pictures, spent some time at the book fair, AND played bingo! What a lovely morning!
