Good Shepherd Catholic School recognizes the importance of STEM education and is committed to technology and its use to prepare students for the future. STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education. STEM focuses on real-world applications, creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and exploration. Our teachers incorporate STEM education into lessons and special projects throughout the school year.
GSC's STEM technologies include:
Robotics: Tiny Bots, Dot and Dash, Ozobots, Sphero Bolts, LEGO Spike Kits, LEGO Coding Express Kits, Marty the Robot,
Cobots, and more!
Coding: Coding Express, Scratch, Scratch Jr., Marty Blocks, and Blocks.
Virtual Reality: Google Expedition.
Classrooms have access to organized lessons and resources in the school's continuously evolving STREAM Lab.
Since GSC also teaches Religion and supports "The Arts" in many forms, we take STEM to the STREAM level!
