GSC Celebrates Catholic Schools Week 2022

Here's what's happening at GSC from January 29 through February 4, 2022:
  
Saturday and Sunday, January 29-30: Celebrating Our Parish
•  Student speakers will talk at the weekend Masses
at Queen of Peace Church.

Monday, January 31: Celebrating Our Community
•  Annual Mass for GSC volunteers and community first responders
at 9:00 a.m. in Queen of Peace Church;
first responders are invited to attend virtually via the
Queen of Peace Livestream:
https://masslivestream.com/churches/qofpeacechurch.
•  GSC will deliver cards and treats to local police stations and fire houses.
 
Tuesday, February 1: Celebrating Our Students
•  GSC's New STREAM Lab and Media Center open today!
•  Queen of Peace Pastor Father Larry Crehan will bless the rooms and
students will visit the labs during the school day with their classmates.
•  Students will receive a soft pretzel at morning recess/snack time.
•  The Home and School Association will treat students to a Hot Dog Lunch.
•  Students will meet with their "buddies" for activities.

Wednesday, February 2: Celebrating Service To Others
•  GSC will kick off its Souper Bowl Food Drive
organized by the Student Council and National Junior Honor Society.
•  Students can wear their favorite team, dance or "cheer" shirt
with their gym pants.

Thursday, February 3: Celebrating Our Teachers and Staff
•  Teacher Appreciation Day
•  Teachers will enjoy a lunch provided by the
Good Shepherd Home and School Association.

Friday, February 4: Celebrating GSC
•  Dance For Education! (Click on the words to donate.)
•  Students may wear red, white and blue-colored clothing (think Winter Olympics).
​•  Games (including Bingo) and dancing throughout the day.
