Here are the required Back to School forms for the 2018-2019 school year: Volunteers who have regular contact with children at Good Shepherd Catholic School are required to complete parts one and two of the Safe Environment Training within 90 days of beginning their work.
Good Shepherd Catholic School will be offering a Safe Environment Session for adults on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 6:00pm. This will complete Part 1: Protecting God's Children Awareness Session for Adults. This instructor-led training provides basic facts about child sexual abuse and adults' roles in prevention. Please visit and register at www.virtus.org to complete training. Click on "First-Time Registrant" to begin the registration process and view all sessions that are offered. Click on Philadelphia for Organization. Registration is required. Part I -"Protecting God's Children" Safe Environment Workshop Wednesday, August 22, 2018 Class begins at 6:00pm Queen of Peace Parish - Lynaugh Hall 825 North Hills Avenue Ardsley, PA 19038 Part II - The Mandatory Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse (online) is available online at the Training Institute. This training provides an overview of Archdiocesan reporting procedures for suspected child abuse and PA Child Welfare Laws. This training should take about an hour to complete.
