On Saturday, June 9th, we kicked off our first annual Mario Carlo Memorial Bocce Tournament. For those that participated, there was great fun! The proceeds are being used to expand our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities or other areas of enrichment, such as Robotics.
We owe special thanks to Brendan Gallagher, Dominic Fittipaldi, and Joe Siravo for their help in maintaining our Bocce courts, Jen Mahoney and our Home and School Association for hosting the Beef and Beer, and Angelo Lanzetta, Dave Buccafuri and our other wine vendors for generously contributing to the event. Thank you to all of our volunteers for all of your help. We couldn't have done it without you!
The presence of the Carlo family made the day extra special. We look forward to seeing many more participants next year at our second annual Mario Carlo Memorial Bocce Tournament!
