From the Principal: August Newsletter

Dear Parents,

I hope you are enjoying these summer days! Here at GSC we are busy getting ready for the new school year. The books are starting to arrive; the STEM and Robotics materials are also arriving! We will be ready to greet you and the children next month.

We are passionate about catholic education and we look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, high-quality faith based education. We recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher and we believe that by working together, we can make sure your child’s spiritual, social, emotional, and academic needs are met. Together we can be the difference!

As we prepare for a new school year, I welcome you to this unique partnership. With you we share an important goal – to provide your children an education devoted to academic excellence and committed to Catholic values and ideals.

We recognize the sacrifices you have made to send you children to GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC SCHOOL. This faith-based education you have chosen provides an atmosphere warmed by the powerful presence of our loving and faithful God. At the beginning of this school year I urge you to support our school through your prayers and cooperation. The close ties between family and school reinforce moral values and nurture our faith tradition.

GSC welcomes Mrs. Monica Morales our new Spanish Teacher and Ms. Sabrina Escaleira our new first grade teacher!

Our New Family Social/Back to School event is Friday, September 7th. Please save the date. More information will be sent home. All GSC families are welcome!
